Ayman Alheraki founded ForgeVM to pursue an assembler-first approach to compiler infrastructure and low-level development tools.
His programming work began in the 1980s and has included x86 assembly, C++, desktop and business software, systems programming, technical writing, and compiler-infrastructure research.
ForgeVM reflects a long-standing interest in machine code, processor architectures, assemblers, linkers, executable formats, operating-system interfaces, and the engineering layers between programming languages and hardware.
The project is developed independently and its public status should always be described accurately: research, planning, prototypes, and releases must remain clearly separated.
